The Countdown has begun….

In less than 30 days, I will experience the joy of fatherhood! Pretty exciting for me, a man on the backside of 40. But the most amazing thing is I get to share this wonderful experience with my wife Christen. We’ve been so blessed to have God give us this child, I only hope I can become the Father that I want to become, teaching it how to throw a curve ball, sink a free throw, whittle a whistle, make a kite fly.. and the list goes on and on. Sure I have some reservations about it all, the stress of todays economy, the job prospects, housing markets, all the stuff I should just let God take care of.  We’re only human and we all tend to worry about how to financially support our children. Trust me I’m really concerned about the future and how I can make sure that my child will have everything it needs to make it in this topsy turvy world, but I leave it in God’s Hands to guide me through it all and I know it will all be as he intended it to be. The clock is ticking and I can’t wait to hear the alarm….
